When my husband heard James playing his Belldrum in Nelson he chased him down and asked if he could buy it from him. He felt that the sound of the Belldrum tuned to a frequency of 432 Hertz would help me with my pain.

I have suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis for the last 12 years and when I played the Belldrum for the first time I felt my whole body completely relax and resonate. Hi there,

I came across your bell drum this week when I was working at Christmas Island hospital.

We are nursing a person who is terminally ill with cancer and is experiencing high amounts of pain. Each evening, my nursing colleague's wife bought her bell drum in to play to see if it would help our patient relax and ease her pain. It did help her - and the staff too!

I was very fortunate and was able to also play her drum and felt that I would also like one. Whilst playing the drum, I found it helped to slow my thoughts down and relax. The tone was special and seemed to affect others in a similar way.
